Why choose a hospitality TV?
A consumer TV is not made for a hotel room: any guest can change the settings and every screen has to be set up by hand.
A hospitality TV such as the Samsung HF800F is designed for hotels:
- Hotel mode: the property locks the settings and keeps control of how the screens are configured.
- Fleet management: TVs are managed together instead of being set up one by one.
- Interactive portal: with MXTV Hotel, the TV becomes a channel to promote your services.
Samsung in hospitality
Samsung hotel TVs run Tizen in hotel mode. Samsung offers its own platform, LYNK Cloud, sold separately. With MXTV Hotel, MXTV displays your portal and manages your screens alongside your other brands.
The range goes from compact TVs for small rooms to large 4K screens for suites, up to the art TV The Frame Hospitality.
The HF800F series with MXTV Hotel
Connected to MXTV Hotel, the Samsung HF800F becomes the gateway to your in-room services:
- A portal in your colours: welcome message, practical information, restaurant, spa and hotel services.
- A single back office: content and screens managed from one interface, even if your rooms mix several TV brands.
- Secure Google Cast: guests scan a QR code and stream their videos from their phone. Their connections are erased at check-out.
- Netflix: the app is available on this series, so guests can watch their shows just like at home.
- Wi-Fi hotspot: the TV can provide a Wi-Fi access point in the room.
- Headphone jack: ideal in shared clinic or hospital rooms, to watch TV without disturbing the neighbour.
