What is MXTV?
MXTV is an IPTV platform published by MAXCOTE, a French company based in Bussy-Saint-Georges near Paris. It turns in-room TVs into a service portal: TV channels, property information, room service, apps and casting. It comes in two versions: MXTV Hotel for hospitality and MXTV Healthcare for hospitals, clinics and care homes.
Do I need to replace my existing TVs?
Not necessarily. MXTV runs natively on compatible Hospitality TVs (Samsung, LG, Philips, Vestel). For older TVs, the M98 box brings all MXTV Hotel features without changing screens, which reduces your investment.
Is MXTV available in the cloud?
Yes. MXTV is available as SaaS hosted by MAXCOTE, as a local (on-premise) installation on a server or virtual machine in your facility, or in a certified partner's data centre.
Which networks does MXTV support?
MXTV runs on full IP (Ethernet) networks, in hybrid Wi-Fi + coax mode, on full coax and on DOCSIS. Several infrastructures can coexist in the same property.
Does MXTV connect to my PMS?
Yes. MXTV Hotel includes connectors for the main hotel PMS (Oracle OPERA Cloud, Infor, Apaleo, Mews, Medialog…) and MXTV Healthcare works with admission software through HL7.
