What is MXTV Healthcare?
MXTV Healthcare is an IPTV solution for hospitals, clinics and care homes published by MAXCOTE. It combines connected TVs, media terminals and tablets to inform and entertain patients, with a built-in PMS that handles TV rights, packages and billing.
How do patients activate their TV service?
Service can be activated at reception by staff, from the in-room TV with secure card payment, remotely online or at a kiosk. On coaxial networks, a QR code gives access to information and opens the TV service.
Does MXTV Healthcare work with our admission software?
Yes. The MXTV Healthcare PMS connects to the main admission software and hospital information systems via HL7 and other connectors, as well as to PBX and IP-PBX systems. Rights automatically follow patients when they change rooms.
Do we need an IP network to install MXTV Healthcare?
No. MXTV Healthcare runs on full IP, hybrid Wi-Fi + coax, full coax and DOCSIS. These infrastructures can be mixed within the same facility.
