Philips HFL5114 Hospitality: the Full HD hotel-mode TV for your rooms
The Philips HFL5114 series is a professional TV designed for hotels, available in 32 and 43 inch. Paired with MXTV Hotel, it displays your interactive portal and is managed together with the rest of your TVs.
Why choose a hospitality TV?
A consumer TV is not made for a hotel room: any guest can change the settings and every screen has to be set up by hand.
A hospitality TV such as the Philips HFL5114 is designed for hotels:
- Hotel mode: the property locks the settings and keeps control of how the screens are configured.
- Fleet management: TVs are managed together instead of being set up one by one.
- Interactive portal: with MXTV Hotel, the TV becomes a channel to promote your services.
Philips in hospitality
Philips professional TVs in the HFL range are designed for hospitality and healthcare. Several series run Android TV, giving access to apps and, depending on the model, built-in Chromecast.
With MXTV Hotel, your Philips TVs display the same portal as the rest of your fleet and are managed from the same back office.
The HFL5114 series with MXTV Hotel
Connected to MXTV Hotel, the Philips HFL5114 becomes the gateway to your in-room services:
- A portal in your colours: welcome message, practical information, restaurant, spa and hotel services.
- A single back office: content and screens managed from one interface, even if your rooms mix several TV brands.
- Secure Google Cast: guests scan a QR code and stream their videos from their phone. Their connections are erased at check-out.
- Netflix: the app is available on this series, so guests can watch their shows just like at home.
- Wi-Fi hotspot: the TV can provide a Wi-Fi access point in the room.
- Headphone jack: ideal in shared clinic or hospital rooms, to watch TV without disturbing the neighbour.

Which size should you choose?
The HFL5114 series comes in 32 and 43 inch. Our guidelines:
- 32 inch: small rooms, clinic or hospital rooms, extra rooms.
- 43 inch: the reference size for a standard room.
The right choice also depends on the distance between the bed and the screen: we advise you when we study your project.
