Why choose a hospitality TV?
A consumer TV is not made for a hotel room: any guest can change the settings and every screen has to be set up by hand.
A hospitality TV such as the LG US662H is designed for hotels:
- Hotel mode: the property locks the settings and keeps control of how the screens are configured.
- Fleet management: TVs are managed together instead of being set up one by one.
- Interactive portal: with MXTV Hotel, the TV becomes a channel to promote your services.
LG in hospitality
LG Hospitality TVs run webOS with a dedicated hotel mode. LG provides its own hotel platform, Pro:Centric. With MXTV Hotel, MXTV displays your portal and manages your screens alongside your other brands.
LG offers a very wide hospitality range, from small screens for compact rooms to large 4K sizes for suites.
The US662H series with MXTV Hotel
Connected to MXTV Hotel, the LG US662H becomes the gateway to your in-room services:
- A portal in your colours: welcome message, practical information, restaurant, spa and hotel services.
- A single back office: content and screens managed from one interface, even if your rooms mix several TV brands.
- Netflix: the app is available on this series, so guests can watch their shows just like at home.
- Wi-Fi hotspot: the TV can provide a Wi-Fi access point in the room.
- Headphone jack: ideal in shared clinic or hospital rooms, to watch TV without disturbing the neighbour.
Which size should you choose?
The US662H series comes in 43, 50, 55 and 65 inch. Our guidelines:
- 43 inch: the reference size for a standard room.
- 50 and 55 inch: superior and family rooms, with a longer viewing distance.
- 65 inch: suites, large rooms and common areas (lobby, bar, meeting room).
The right choice also depends on the distance between the bed and the screen: we advise you when we study your project.
An end-of-line series
The US662H series is no longer manufactured and remaining quantities are limited. For a new project, we recommend the current series in our hospitality TV catalogue, all compatible with MXTV Hotel. If you already have this series, MXTV Hotel keeps working on your screens.
